- Austin Cindric and Blake Fuller to Split GRC Lites Ride in 2014
Published: April 3, 2014
Young open-wheel talent Austin Cindric and former Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Blake Fuller have announced a joint commitment to run in GRC Lites in 2014. They will split a car for the GO PUCK/Nightrain Global Rallycross Team, which will enter each race of the GRC Lites schedule.
At only 15 years old, Cindric is already one of the top up and coming drivers on the Mazda Road to Indy ladder. The son of Penske Racing president Tim Cindric, he became the first 14-year-old in the USF2000 series last season, earning three top-10 finishes. He will run his second full season of USF2000 in 2014 while running a majority of GRC Lites events.
Fuller is a veteran of numerous racing classes, from sports car events to drifting, but some of his greatest successes have come at Pikes Peak. After winning PPIHC Rookie of the Year honors at 18 years old, he won the event’s Open class in 2002. Fuller is also the president of Braille Battery, which provides battery units for all GRC Lites vehicles.
